The 2021 Kia K5 is new to the market, and some people may get a sneak peek of this car soon. At Murray Kia in Conshohocken, we're excited to showcase this all-new model. It's athletic and modern, and it'll be a treat for you to get behind the wheel of one.

Performance

Kia based the K5 on the old Optima, but it has made many changes inside and out. The K5 uses an engine that was part of the powertrain options in the Optima. It's a turbocharged engine with four cylinders and a displacement of 1.6-liters. It's able to produce 180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. What's great is that Kia is offering all-wheel drive with the K5.

Being released a bit later is a special K5 GT model, which will run on a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine. This larger engine gives the car much more capability, bringing horsepower to 290 and torque to 311 pound-feet. The GT will definitely have the feel of a sports sedan, and it's perfect for those who love to push their vehicles to the limits.

Interior

Inside the cabin of the K5, things will look sophisticated. Certain trims have luxurious materials like leather seats, leather-wrapped steering wheels, and wood trim. Ambient lighting is available, the rear seats can come heated, and the front seats can be both heated and ventilated. These features are in line with what you might find on cars made by luxury brands. The main difference is that the K5 won't have the expensive price tag associated with these cars.

Technology

In the technology department, things are equally impressive. An eight-inch touchscreen and smartphone compatibility are standard, so it's simple to use the infotainment system to make a quick phone call, receive a text message, or play a favorite song or podcast. Higher trims can feature navigation, SiriusXM, wireless charging, and more.
